I have to admit, these gloves surprised me. Although they require some time to break in, they're very comfortable and durable.
What really surprised me is how great they are with grappling(90% of what I do anyway). They don't get in the way when you grapple - allowing you to smoothly transition, apply holds/submissions, etc.
Also, they cushion your hand and support your wrists very well while striking. You can truly hit as hard as you want to while wearing these. The only thing that's going to break will be the other person's face. (That's the point anyway, right?)
I would be careful while blocking, however. The spacing between the small finger and ring finger is a little wide. Therefore, if you block a lot with an open palm (palm black, knife-handed block, etc.) then you might risk injury to the small finger - especially if you encounter a strong kick.
Other than that, the gloves are perfect. I look forward to getting much more use out of them for years to come.

I did try the gloves on and they were perfectly sized though I did not purchase the gloves for training or competition. They are now on display in my home signed by UFC Hall of Famer Dan "The Beast" Severn.

These are great gloves. I use them all the time during bag drills. They have a really nice fit - not too tight around the wrist, but firm around the knuckles. The open hand on the gloves give my hands air so my hands don't sweat. The only slight problem with the gloves is that they are not as padded as other gloves so punching the bag leaves my knuckles kind of sore. But once you use them frequently you'll get used to it. Overall these are great gloves.

The glove looks great and everytime you see a fighter on T.V. with it on you feel proud to own a pair yourself. Besides that it sucks. I would never spar a friend because the knuckle pad is too hard but you can't hit a heavy bad either unless you wrap your hands because there is virtually NO knuckle protection.
